Hi, I’m Salli, the photographer behind Boo and Bertie.
Creativity has always been part of my life, shaped by a background in art and dance. Over time, that naturally led me to photography, and more specifically, to capturing the connection between people and their dogs.
I share my life with three Whippets, Bertie, Elliot and Sydney, who are very much the reason this business exists. Living alongside them has given me a deep appreciation for how individual every dog is, and how quickly the small, everyday moments become the ones we value most.
My approach to photography is calm, patient, and led by your dog. I take the time to understand their personality, allowing them to feel at ease so that nothing feels forced or unnatural.
The result is a set of images that reflect not just how your dog looks, but who they are, and the relationship you share.

She came into my life when I needed her most, a gentle soul with perfect timing. From the very first moment I laid eyes on her, I was completely in love. Boo was my little saviour, my shadow, and my comfort through life’s twists and turns.

Bertie (aka Bertielicious, Super Bertie, Sausage...)
What can I say about Bertie? She’s full of sweetness, sass, and a whole lot of personality, too many nicknames to list! Whether she’s curled up by my feet or getting up to her usual mischief, I love her to bits. Even when she’s being cheeky, she melts my heart every time.

My handsome, gentle Elliot.
They say you never know what you’re getting with a rescue, but I hit the jackpot. He’s the softest soul, endlessly affectionate, and an absolute cuddle magnet. It’s as if he knows he was given a second chance, and he shows his gratitude in the most loving ways every single day.
ELLIOT
Sydney – Our Little Blue whirlwind
Still just a pup and already the apple of our eye. Sydney is busy finding his feet and doing his best to charm Elliot and Bertie, one playful pounce at a time. We know he’ll find his place in our pack soon enough. He’s pure joy (and just a little bit of mischief).
